why do you treat me as a friend
who'll be there till the end.
why can't you see me as a lover?
i promise to stay with you forever!
why are you so afraid to try?
is it because you'll only make me cry?
but i know you'll still be there to dry my eyes...
or is it because you're afraid to ruin our friendship?
i wish for the day to come
when you'll finally realize
that i can be more than a friend
who promises to stick with you forever...
i can be more than that you know...
if only you'll let me try...
trust me to take care of you,
because i truly love you...
you're so blind to see
coz you have to look the other way around,
and look for someone you pity...
when right in front of you is... me!
i know that you've been hurt before
because i feel your pain inside me...
i've been hurt too...
but look at me i'm still willing to try...
why is it that when i've found the one,
it seems like it's going to hurt again?
it hurts because the one i truly love,
only sees me as his friend....
